About Akazki
Surrounded by lots of fascinating books, I read as many books as I want, and before I know it, I go out.
Akazki Library" is an inn for book lovers to realize a dreamy way of spending time for such readers.
It takes 30 minutes by car from Saga City and 1 hour from Fukuoka City.
"A 110-year-old Japanese house is located quietly in the alley of ""Furuyu Onsen (Saga Prefecture)"", a mountain hot spring resort called ""Beautiful Women's Hot Spring"" or ""Secret Hot Spring"" with a slightly warmer and thicker spring quality than human skin."There is dawn in a quiet place surrounded by soaking and lush greenery. About 1,400 books were selected by Kyushu's "Book lovers" who agreed with Dawn's efforts.A calm atmosphere peculiar to traditional Japanese houses.You can enjoy this space as a library with a cafe during the day and a library with only one group per day at night.

About collection
Akazki currently has 1,400 books in its collection. This is a selection of 20 books each by book lovers in Kyushu. The theme is "Best 20 books you want to keep on your bookshelf at home". In other words, every book is a "lifetime" book chosen by someone, and each book is accompanied by a reason why "the book is important".
One of the features is that it is not divided into genres by the content of the book (= content) like an ordinary library, but it is classified by the selector (= person). The books are arranged according to the rule of one shelf per person, so you can find a shelf that suits your taste and enjoy looking closely at the 20 books selected by that person.

There is only the constraint of a book that has a feeling. As a result, we have a wide range of genres, including novels, picture books, photo books, manga, poetry collections, and magazines.
Some books have been selected more than once. However, even if it is the same book, each person has different feelings towards the book. Comparing the comments deepens the enjoyment of coming into contact with books. We would like to offer you such an opportunity.
Short Film
This short film depicts the stories of three sets of characters who visit Akazki.
Each character's story unfolds in the Furuyu Hot Springs and Akazki and touches on "books", "hot springs", and "people of Furuyu".
In today's society, where we are so accustomed to visual images and information, we would like to face the written word once again.
Nina, the protagonist of this film, uses only text to imagine the people of the "Travel Memories Book" she found at the dawn of time.
We hope that Akazki, where you can spend an evening facing your imagination without being disturbed by anyone, and other hot springs in Furuyu will become "a sacred place for book lovers.

The library is available for private use for only one group per night.
The library space with tatami mats will be your room. Please lay out a futon between the bookshelves and enjoy sleeping surrounded by books.

◎ Breakfast and dinner reservations must be made in advance. Breakfast time and place are subject to change for certain reasons. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
◎ Please note that there are no restaurants in the Furuyu Onsen district where you can have a meal in the evening.
◎ After your check-in, the entire building is reserved for you, but our staff will be in the kitchen for 15 to 30 minutes to prepare your meal in your room.
◎ We can also prepare special meals for children. If you wish to order, please let us know at the time of reservation.

There are no bath facilities at Akazki. We will give you a ticket, so please stop by Eiryu Onsen (9:00-20:30) in the Furuyu Onsen district and enjoy a relaxing "lukewarm" hot spring bath!
Repeater Benefits
As a special treat for repeat guests who have stayed at Dawn in the past, we are offering Dawn's original drip bag coffee as a gift (one per person). The coffee is blended to taste good even when cold, so please enjoy it as an accompaniment to your reading.
Consecutive Night Discount
For guests staying for two consecutive nights, a discount of 1,000 yen per person will be applied to the room rate for the second and subsequent nights. Please spend a relaxing time with a book in a space for book lovers.

Cancellation of Reservation
Cancellation of a room reservation after it has been made will be subject to a cancellation charge in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Accommodation, as follows:
- 15 days or more prior to accommodation day: No charge
- 8 to 14 days prior to accommodation day: 30% of the room charge
- 4 to 7 days prior to accommodation day: 50% of the room charge
- 2 or 3 days prior to accommodation day: 80% of the room charge
- 1 day prior to accommodation day, accommodation day, or no-show: 100% of the room charge
